Zeolite, Ceramic and Carbon Membranes
Zeolitic materials and procedures of membrane fabrication, followed by a summary of applications for gas separation, pervaporation and separation of liquid mixtures. Special thought is named to chemical compound mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) and membranes supported metal organic frame works (MOFs). Carbon features a layer structure that produces it extraordinarily promising as a membrane material for gas separation. Carbon membranes are better to polymer membranes in terms of thermal stability and chemical resistance.
